CORON = is a second class municipality in the province of Palawan , Philippines .

The municipality covers part of the Calamian Group of Island in northern Palawan . There are four municipalities in the area, but the center of commerce is the town of Coron , which is found on the southeastern tip of Busuanga Island . Four main Islands make up the Calamianes Archipelago these are Busuanga, Coron, Culion and Linapacan.
